An award-winning gospel singer and songwriter, Berg has released many albums. She has won five 'Certificate of Achievement' awards in the Gospel Category from Billboard Magazine Song Contest. She reached the Swedish finals of the Eurovision Song Contest. Berg also arranges choir music and is a composer of sacral music. Her albums, Hoya and Omine saw the artist create an imaginary language breaking new ground in the world music genre.

Malou & The Jazpels received a standing ovation at its premiere live performance at Sweden's Östhammar's Music Week in July. With her new band, she again creates groundbreaking music by mixing jazz and gospel. The band features Jörgen Anderstig on guitar and Arnold Rodriguez on piano and keyboards.
